Approach
Good work is plain on the surface[*] and precise underneath. I design the system first — logic, structure, motion — then let the interface stay quiet so the product can speak.[**] Every release ships as clean, documented work a team can keep building on.[***]
[*]
Yalin, n. — plain; without ornament. The name is the brief.
[**]
Interfaces are measured in calm, not in clicks.

About
One continuous line from idea to working form.
I’m Yalin, a designer who also writes the code. For eight years I have worked with founders, studios and product teams on the part where an idea has to become something people can actually use.
The practice stays small on purpose: two projects at a time, direct contact, no hand-offs between strangers. Before Yalin I led design teams at product studios in Lisbon and Berlin.
